The next day we met Grandma Joyce and watched the parade and the girls had fun collecting candy. It was an overcast day and perfect parade weather. After, we went to Cafe Rio for lunch (yummy) and then dropped Grandma off. Then we headed to the park for some cotton candy, snow cones and a new fish to add to our family...randomly named "Hammock Boy" by Adelyn:) After the park we went home and packed to go up to Oakley for a BBQ at Tom's friend JD's house and had fun seeing some friends and eating good food. Then we went and spent the night at my Mom's house in Woodland. We had fun by a fire, played catch, played games, went to church, ate good food, swung in hammocks, rode 4 wheelers, napped and just enjoyed being up there!
The weekend was finished by stopping by Tom's parents to see the Lake cousins who had just arrived and we all went to a park and played baseball and other games! Whew!....it was a very nice unplanned, go with the flow weekend that turned out better than if we had planned:)
