Adam's Canyon 3rd Attempt

Tom and I finally made it to the top of Adam's Canyon waterfall that is in Fruit Heights! We had first attempted this hike carrying kids on packs, then another time by ourselves but had to get back to babysitters, (oh and we did go snowshoeing...but we weren't trying to make it to the top) and this time we had Tom's nieces Olivia and Mckenna sleepover the night before and babysit and we literally ran up and ran down. Thanks to a good little shortcut that my sister Emily told us about we bypassed the ugly boring switchbacks at the beginning and it took us 45min to get up and 35 min to get down....my knees are trash going downhill!

It's a good little ending to a hike I think and it was fun to just be with Tom for a bit and get a good workout. A hike is all it takes to help Tom and I remember that it's the simple things that matter and reminds us of what we love to do and how much we enjoy being in nature together.

That is so beautiful, and to think it is so close to your home!

How wonderful that you an Tom both love the outdoors so much! I'm sure your children will feel the same way when they see you both having so much fun. That is such good exercise, fun times together, and enjoying God's creations. It just doesn't get any better, right?!
