Weekend in Woodland

Tom, my brother Zac and brother-in-law Vince had been planning a brother biking trip to Moab and it finally happened this past weekend! So since the boys were going to bond we thought us girls should do some bonding as well. Hilary ended up not going, but Emily and I packed our kids and we stole cousin Bridger for the weekend and headed up to my Mom and Ennis' house in Woodland. I seriously love it up there and love their house. We planned on playing outside a lot but the rain came and stopped some of those plans, but we still had a lot of fun exploring, eating well, watching for wildlife, playing "pooh sticks", watching movies, reading, doing crafts, organizing food storage, going to church, picking flowers, and just hanging out. We'll have to do it again when both Brittany and Hilary can be there...we missed you!

Elsie helping Grandma make brownies...there is never an end to the supply of treats when you're at the Gibb house:)

Elsie and Merrill dog Lizzy

Elsie and Haley...little hooded buddies at last! (they've spent a good part of their lives being fiesty with each other and now they are good little friends)

Looks like fun. I love hearing stories about Elsie from Kim. Some one just needs to pick a date to go to Bucco's and we need to just go! Thurs. nights are usually good for me.

Just happened upon your blog from Jennie's and saw that you were in Woodland. I'm 99% sure that this is thee woodland right in my neck of the woods?. We live in Kamas and my husband teaches at the middle school here. Who is your relative, Gibbs? hmm. ANyways, it is such a beautiful place. and it was fun to see the pictures. Hope you are doing well.
